- ➤ The Clark County Sheriff’s Office announced it is investigating the Vancouver Outdoor Expo for fraud after vendors reported large losses when ticket sales fell short of the promise of over 40,000 attendees at the three-day event held earlier this year — officials are reviewing ticket sales and vendor complaints. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Bob Ferguson signed Tyler’s Law on Monday banning the sale of sodium nitrite in concentrations over 10% in stores. The law takes effect immediately and imposes fines up to $10,000 for a first violation and up to $1 million for later breaches — sellers must also add a mandatory warning on product labels. The Oregonian
- ➤ Washington residents can apply for an e-bike rebate that offers up to $1,200 in savings from April 9 at 7 a.m. through noon on April 23—this program, funded by the Climate Commitment Act, aims to boost active transportation and is available in English and Spanish. A total of roughly 10,000 rebates worth more than $4 million are offered through this initiative. KOIN
