- ➤ Vancouver will return to Portland’s 118th Grand Floral Parade on June 7 with a new float called A River Runs Through Us that celebrates the Columbia River and regional connections. Fieldwork Flowers in partnership with the Vancouver Downtown Association, Menashe Properties, Tieton Homes and the city will debut the float along a route that starts on Naito Parkway and ends at Southwest 14th Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street (parade runs 10 a.m. to noon) (the design uses local blooms and native plants). - ➤ Ridgefield will host its 14th Annual Big Paddle Waterfront Festival on Saturday, June 7 at 109 W Division Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.—the event will include guided paddling, dragon boat rides, free nature hikes and live music to celebrate National Trails Day. Clark County Today
