- ➤ The $42 million Brockmann Residential Treatment Facility in Vancouver is set to finish in June but will not open as planned because lawmakers cut over $74 million and funded only a warm closure to pay staff—leaving the center without the operational funds needed to serve 48 patients. Lawmakers said they plan to revisit funding when possible while community leaders expressed concern over the delay amid broader state mental health challenges. The Oregonian
