- ➤ Traffic on SR14 was blocked following a late Monday night crash near Milepost 14 and drivers were detoured using exit 14 to 2nd Avenue — Union Street as crews worked to clear the scene. KOIN

- ➤ A Camas startup called PowerLattice Technologies, which is working to improve power delivery for artificial intelligence and data centers, raised nearly $17 million for a $25 million round and has former Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger on its board—while current Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan supports the company through his venture firm. - ➤ On Tuesday, two teens (15 and 17 years old) brought a stolen handgun into Roosevelt Elementary School in Vancouver after a drive-by shooting near the Jim Parsley Community Center, prompting a school lockdown, remote learning at the center, and juvenile detention bookings. The Oregonian

- ➤ Since May 17, the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife has allowed residents to salvage deer and elk from vehicle crashes in Clark, Cowlitz, and Wahkiakum counties if they obtain a free roadkill salvage permit — the rule excludes Columbian white-tailed deer. Clark County Today
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Clark County Public Health reported that two dogs died after exposure to toxic algal mats in the Columbia River, with one death on Ackerman Island in October 2024 and another in August on the Oregon side. The county has placed warning signs at 11 marinas — and it is working with state agencies to prevent more exposures. KOIN
