- ➤ City Manager Lon Pluckhahn announced that Jeff Towery has been chosen as Vancouver's new deputy city manager after a national search, and he will oversee departments for housing, community development, parks, public works and policy management. Towery, who was city manager in McMinnville, will start when final details are set—more information will be released later. Clark County Today
