- ➤ A new study published in the journal PNAS examined nearly 2 million people and found that Oregon and Washington rank among the states with fewer dark personality traits such as psychopathy, narcissism & sadism. Researchers used an index based on factors like corruption, inequality, poverty and violence to measure these traits across 183 countries. KOIN

- ➤ Scientists at the U.S. Geological Survey recorded hundreds of small earthquakes at Mount Rainier just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday—the strongest measuring 1.7 and coming from depths between 1.2 and 3.7 miles, marking the largest swarm in over 15 years. Officials said the quakes are linked to hydrothermal fluids moving along faults and are not a sign of an impending eruption. KOIN
