Good morning, Vancouver.

On Saturday morning, a ceremony was held in Vancouver to honor 59 Clark County veterans who died in the Vietnam War and all who served, featuring a reading of names, bell ringing for each veteran — and a military jet flyover.

The event provided a moment to recognize the service and sacrifice of these local heroes.

An 18-year-old died and a 19-year-old was hurt when a car left the road and hit a tree near 28600 NE Reilly Road in Clark County just after midnight—deputies tried emergency measures without saving the teen—as investigators work to determine the cause.
