Clark County’s Commission on Aging has launched its 7th annual Silver Citizen Award to honor residents 60 or older for their service to the community.
Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. (Monday, Aug. 31) for consideration.
Matt Young, founder of Vancouver Elite Outreach, uses his own struggles to mentor local youth and is sponsoring the Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug.
15 from noon to 3 p.m. at Living Hope Church to supply school materials and support for families.
