Families enjoy Mars Encounters at the Clark County Fair today (live shows run at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.) as children explore an inflatable rocket obstacle course and mine for aurelionite in an educational role-playing adventure.
🏛️ Government
Fire Marshal Donna Goddard announced that recreational fire bans now cover La Center, Ridgefield, Woodland and unincorporated Clark County (aimed at preventing small campfires from sparking larger fires) to bolster the outdoor burning prohibition in place since July 15.
The measure goes into effect today and remains until further notice.
