- ➤ On August 23rd, Vancouver Fire Department and Clark County Fire District 6 responded to a fast-moving brush fire near the 6800 block of NW Dogwood Drive on the east side of Fruit Valley Road—firefighters deployed hose lines and a master stream to control the fire spanning 2 to 5 acres while keeping nearby homes safe.
