- ➤ A Vancouver lawyer, Josephine Townsend, who was convicted last month for forging court documents to help her client avoid arrest, was sentenced on Tuesday to four months in jail with 10 days served locally and the rest on Electric Home Monitoring—she also received 12 months probation and a $700 fine.
