- ➤ Fatal wrong-way driving accidents in Washington have surged 300% since 2014 and now the Washington Department of Transportation is installing sensor-based detection systems—funded with $2 million—to alert drivers and law enforcement at key on-ramps including several locations in Clark County. - ➤ The Clark County Arts Commission will host Music on the Plaza at the Public Service Center on Sept. 20 from 2–4 p.m. and the event will feature local bands, poetry and community performances. Clark County Today
