Good morning, Vancouver.

A 4,000-square-foot mural was unveiled Saturday on NE 117th Street near Klineline Pond and Salmon Creek, where 67 artists painted over 60 unique fish to transform a graffiti wall into art.

Vicki Holman led the community project—county officials say the anti-graffiti coat will help protect the mural.

Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez—who said she supported the stopgap bill to prevent a government shutdown—missed her vote when her ballot was not recorded and she plans to submit comments explaining her absence as critics question her commitment.
