  • The Christmas Ships Parade returns in December when over 70 illuminated boats will cruise past local shores, lighting up Pacific Northwest rivers for 15 nights starting December 5 on Columbia River routes and December 9 on Willamette River routes—organizers plan open houses on December 20 and 21 to support a toy drive for children in need.  Clark County Today
  • Liberty Theatre of Camas-Washougal will celebrate Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29 by offering free small popcorn with a ticket purchase for guests who show a same-day local receipt from Camas or Washougal — an initiative that boosts local commerce. ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Kyle Eck and his fiance along with their three children after a vehicle struck them on a Vancouver crosswalk on Nov. 21—Eck was critically injured and placed in a medically induced coma following surgery as his children were treated and later released while the teen driver fled the scene until turning himself in with his mother just after midnight on Nov. 22.  Clark County Today

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Washougal School District Board voted on November 25 to place renewal EP&O and Capital levies on the Feb. 10 ballot to fund student programs & facility needs. If approved, the levies will support education programs, building repairs & safety upgrades while lowering projected tax rates for homeowners compared to 2026.  Clark County Today
