Good morning, Vancouver.

Clark County Parks and Nature is forming a group of local leaders (government officials, nonprofits, youth sports, and conservation groups) to find new ways to fund parks as costs rise.

The team will study funding options and start a new irrigation plan on July 5 (expected to cut water use by 40% and save up to $200,000) in response to budget strains.

The League of Women Voters of Clark County will host a forum for candidates running for Vancouver City Council Position 1 on June 26 at 6:15 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library’s Columbia Room—members of the public can attend in person or watch on CVTV.
